The talk is titled "California's Affordable Housing Crisis & Homelessness: A Local Perspective." “As California's stock of affordable housing dwindles, construction costs rise, and homelessness increases, municipalities struggle to meet the housing needs of their working class and homeless residents. This is one of the greatest challenges that municipalities face up and down the state. With no concrete solution on the horizon, localities must be creative with the policy they enact and the local partnerships that they form to properly confront this challenge.”
