Immigration & Nationality Law Review Symposium "Trump's Top Immigration Priority: Deporting Immigrant Children" March 12th, 2019

Immigration & Nationality Law Review Symposium ------------------------------------------------------------------- Trump's Top Immigration Priority: Deporting Immigrant Children The Muslim travel ban. Building a border wall. Ending Temporary Protected Status designations. Rescinding DACA. "Immigration reform" has arguably been President Donald Trump's top priority. During the summer of 2018, however, the atrocities reached a high point when the United States and the rest of the world were horrified to hear the cries of children separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. This year's Immigration and Nationality Law Review Symposium will highlight the work of Professor Holly Cooper and the clinic's work to fight against the Trump administration's detention of immigrant children. She will speak about the Flores Settlement Agreement, Saravia v. Whitaker, and Lucas R. v. Azar, and she will be joined by two commentators.
